ATLANTA, GA (April 18, 2018) IMG College Licensing announced its “Best Coast” consumer sweepstakes and updated branding as an evolution of its successful College Vault vintage-inspired merchandise collection. College Vault products utilize historical logos and marks of participating universities to create trend-right apparel and non-apparel items for the fashion savvy fan.
The “Best Coast” sweepstakes, which runs through April 21, is a social-media based sweepstakes that asks consumers to vote on their favorite College Vault style to be entered-to-win a trip for two to a coastal destination of their choice. The sweepstakes can be accessed here
In addition to the sweepstakes, IMG College Licensing has revamped its College Vault brand platform to match its new theme, “A Vintage Take on Modern Style.” The revised branding includes a new look for its dedicated online College Vault store at shop.CollegeVault.com, as well as a new social ad campaign targeting consumers aged 25-40.
“We created the College Vault brand program to leverage the trend in vintage merchandise, but it’s evolved into a lifestyle brand with a focus on fashion and fun that lets us tell the stories of our college brand partners,” said Nicole Armentrout, VP of Marketing for IMG College Licensing. “While most College Vault consumers are college fans, some are just attracted to the higher-end materials and styles, as well as the cool logos and brand treatments.”
The College Vault, which began in 2005, has generated nearly $22 million in incremental royalties for participating institutions.
