LSU EXTENDS LICENSING PARTNERSHIP WITH
THE COLLEGIATE LICENSING COMPANY
ATLANTA, GA (June 14, 2016) – The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), the licensing affiliate of IMG College, today announced an extension of its global partnership with Louisiana State University (LSU) to continue managing the school’s successful trademark licensing program until 2026. In addition, LSU has appointed CLC the exclusive agent for all University campuses beginning July 1, 2017. CLC began partnering with LSU in 1991.

Officially-licensed product for LSU is now sold by more than 6,660 retail accounts across the country, an increase of more than 340 retail accounts in the last two years. Royalties for the University have increased 141% in the past decade. LSU has continually ranked among CLC’s top-selling institutions on an annual basis. The Tigers finished the 2014-15 fiscal year ranked 6th in earnings among CLC partner institutions. LSU has achieved greater in-store distribution and total sales in part through its participation in CLC’s exclusive national retail marketing platforms, including College Colors Day, Rock Your Colors and Holiday Cheer Section.

Revenue from the sale of LSU licensed products supports the University’s general fund, including student scholarships, and LSU Athletics programs.
