ATLANTA, GEORGIA, May 15, 2017 – IMG today announced that the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) has been rebranded as IMG College Licensing, effective immediately.
Since 1981, the business’ mission has been to serve as the guiding force in collegiate trademark licensing. Today, IMG College Licensing represents nearly 200 of the nation’s top colleges, universities, bowl games, athletic conferences, the Heisman Trophy, the College Football Playoff, and the NCAA.
“Our rebrand to IMG College Licensing underscores the natural evolution and integration of our company within the WME | IMG family,” said Cory Moss, SVP and Managing Director of IMG College Licensing. “As the collegiate licensing industry continues to transform, we will utilize our unique resources to best serve the needs of our collegiate, retailer and licensee partners.”
Over the last decade, IMG College Licensing has developed industry-leading programs including College Colors Day, Rock Your Colors, and Holiday Cheer, as well as innovative tools and resources like CLC Insights™, a proprietary data system that pairs the trends of the consumer with what is being sold in the marketplace.
The offices for IMG College Licensing will continue to be housed in Atlanta.
